About This Cichlid Variety
Sunshines are described in the literature as omnivores that live in the caves among rocks. They are mildly tempered and their temperature ranges are anywhere between 74°F and 84°F. Their maximum sizes are around 6 to 7 inches and they thrive best in a pH between 7.4 and 8.4. They are described as polygamous mouth brooders. Their origins are lake Malawi Africa, and they thrive in hard waters.
