About This Cichlid Variety
Lwanda peacocks are described in the literature as a mildly aggressive omnivore, however several of our customers say their Lwanda is their tank boss… Their temperature ranges are anywhere between 74°F and 84°F. Their maximum sizes are around 6 to 7 inches and they thrive best in a pH between 7.4 and 8.4. They are described as polygamous mouth brooders. Their origins are Hai Reef in Tanzania and they thrive in hard waters.
