About This Cichlid Variety
Just as the name suggest these fish love deep water. They are closely related to the star sapphires in Mdoka White Lips, but differ in that the males have a light blue appearance with some black markings on the face. They are described as omnivores that a mildly aggressive moothbrooders. They get to a nice size of 8 to 10 inches. Their water temperature ranges are 74 to 84° with a pH of 7.4 and 8.4 and hard waters.
